About the Campaign

New York City campaign seeking a body person for the late-June primary. Candidate is dedicated to issues such as criminal justice reform, strengthening communities to provide opportunity to all and keeping those communities safe.

Responsibilities

• Driving the candidate throughout each day to campaign events and meetings.

• Staffing the candidates at events and meetings.

• Assuring that all appropriate follow up from staffing is addressed or directed to the appropriate staff member or consultant.

• Taking notes at meetings when necessary.

• Working with the campaign manager to coordinate scheduling and event logistics.

• Work non-traditional hours on a full time schedule, with a high degree of flexibility.

Qualifications

• Strong dedication to Democratic politics.

• Minimum 1 cycle of campaign, political, or other relevant experience, or experience in scheduling/logistics/event planning with a serious interest in and understanding of politics.

• Ability to live and work in New York City.

• Ability to work full time campaign hours, often including nights weekends.

Must have car, valid driver's license, and appropriate insurance.

Start Date: ASAP.

Salary: Commensurate with experience.
