A Democratic U.S. Senate
campaign in Texas is seeking a full time Finance Director for the 2020 election.
The candidate must be located in, or willing to relocate to, Dallas, Texas for
the duration of the campaign.
Responsibilities:
- In coordination with senior
leadership team, develop, implement, and manage a multi-million dollar campaign
finance operation including finance committee, call-time, meetings, events, and
digital fundraising
- Assist with management of
finance committee
- Manage in-state and out-of-state fundraising events
- Manage fundraising call time including data capture and
follow-up
- Coordinate with campaign manager and fundraising consultant on
low-dollar digital/email fundraising
- Assist with donor relationship management; ensure timely
delivery of thank you notes
- Hire and supervise finance staff and interns
Required Qualifications:
- Past finance experience in a leadership
role on a federal campaign ($1 million+ raised)
- Strong written, communication,
research and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of NGP and ActBlue
- Proficiency in Google Drive and
Microsoft Office too
- Collaborative and thrives
working in a team setting
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks in a
fast-paced setting
- Willingness to work long and irregular campaign hours
- Willingness to travel
- Access to a laptop and car
Preferred but Not Required:
- Previous experience in Texas
politics
- Expert knowledge of NGP and
ActBlue
Salary is commensurate with experience.
