JOB: Online Organizer (Sierra Club, Los Angeles)

Would you like the opportunity to craft and execute online organizing strategies for one of the Sierra Club's most critical national initiatives, the hard hitting Beyond Coal campaign (www.beyondcoal.org)? You will play a key role organizing, developing, and coordinating online email outreach, web-based advocacy, and online-to-offline integration of our members and supporters who are interested in reducing our nation's reliance on coal and transitioning to a clean energy future. A significant part of this role will also require development of strategies to engage Latinos.
Given that you will be asked to play such an important role in the campaign, This Online Organizer will need a solid foundation (2+ years) in online organizing or campaigning, with a strong background in advocacy or political campaign organizing. Good verbal communication skills are essential; a high level of campaign staff collaboration is necessary to do excellent work and the ability speak, read and write in Spanish.
