Finance Director – Midwest mayoral campaign

Competitive mayoral campaign in Cincinnati, OH is looking for a full time Finance Director to start ASAP. You will be a part of the campaign’s senior staff, reporting directly to the campaign manager.

Responsibilities:

• Further develop and execute campaign finance plan for the election cycle.
• Oversee junior finance staff and interns and work directly with consultants.
• Manage candidate call time and events.
• Manage processes for new donor research/outreach and existing donor engagement.
• Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and staffing for fundraising activities. 
• Other responsibilities depending on the needs of the campaign.

Experience & Qualifications:

• At least 2 cycles of campaign finance experience
• Experience managing candidate call time and planning high-dollar fundraising events.
• Proficiency with NGP (preferably NGP 8), ActBlue and Excel.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to balance between competing tasks in a fast-paced, demanding environment while maintaining exceptional organization and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work irregular hours including nights and weekends.

Details:
Ideal start date: February 1
Salary commensurate with experience and fundraising ability; $4500-$5000 a month.
Partially remote, must relocate to the area
