Responsibilities:
  • Assist National Finance Director oversee all major-donor fundraising in the United States for the Democratic National Committee.
  • Help execute a fundraising strategy that would raise tens of millions of dollars within a campaign cycle.
  • Oversee recruitment of new major donors and fundraisers and reengage those who had lapsed since previous cycles.
  • Oversee fundraising events schedule that will feature the Chairman, DNC Officers, and other surrogates, ranging from small roundtables to multi-city swings.
  • Primary responsibility for overseeing contribution tracking and reporting.
  • Develop a system for programmatic fundraising including writing proposals, tracking contributions and owning follow up with programmatic donors. 
  • Oversee the Finance Council program and establish metrics for fundraising and donor outreach success.

Skills:
  • Manage a large staff that would include several full-time employees and outside consultants.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills necessary to identifying and cultivating major donors and fundraisers.
  • Previous finance experience is a prerequisite for the deputy finance director position.

Requirements:
  • A Bachelor’s degree.
  • Masters preferred but not required.
  • At least five years of work experience in a finance-related field.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Passion for electing Democrats from the School Board to the Oval Office!
