Sierra Club, America’s most powerful grassroots organization, is hiring an Assistant Director of Membership Development to attract and cultivate younger and more diverse environmental advocates and members. This person will be on the front lines of our organization-wide effort to create and empower an environmental movement that is truly an equitable, inclusive, and diverse. They will have the opportunity to collaborate across the Sierra Club to engage young and diverse constituencies through the Club’s existing events, activities, programs, and partnerships—as well as to develop and launch new targeted marketing and engagement programs.

Thriving in this position requires a comfort with grassroots or events marketing, marketing communications, and direct marketing. Obviously, experience with youth and/or multicultural marketing/outreach is essential.
