Democratic Northeastern Congressional Campaign is looking for a Finance
Director. This is a DCCC Round One Targeted race in a competitive district. The
Finance Director will work directly with the Campaign Manager, responsible for
developing and executing strategic plans and meeting performance milestones, with
continuous progress toward larger campaign goals. The responsibilities include,
but are not limited to the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Writing and implementing the campaign finance plan
- Setting campaign fundraising goals and tracking goals according to weekly, monthly, and quarterly metrics
- Coordinating and enforcing the candidate’s fundraising schedule, efficiently prioritizing candidate’s daily fundraising routine
- Working with the Campaign Manager to coordinate and reconcile the campaign’s cash flow needs
- Hiring and supervising staff, fundraising consultants, interns, and volunteers
- Planning fundraising events, including recruiting hosts, promoting events, and managing the campaign’s donor contact
- Coordinating online fundraising activities with the campaign’s digital team
- Organizing donor correspondence and follow-up activities
- Maintaining, updating, and expanding upon existing donor database
- Supervising the daily check collection, deposit, and data entry
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least one cycle of campaign fundraising experience
required
- Previous experience in a Finance Director role strongly
preferred
- Demonstrated
proficiency with NGP Software
- Ability to plan and manage time sensitive projects with
competing needs
- Strong attention to detail
- Prior experience with FEC compliance requirements a plus
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Capacity and desire to work long hours in a fast-paced, campaign
setting
