Prominent Democratic Fundraising Firm seeks a paid development intern to work directly with a non-profit client for the spring semester. This internship provides the unique opportunity to be integrated with the development team of a nationally recognized non-profit without having to leave Washington, D.C. The selected intern will play a key role in donor prospecting, research, contacting donors, working within various donor databases, and writing detailed briefings. This position interfaces closely with the non-profit's consultants, Executive Director, and Communications Director.
The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong writing and communication skills. The internship requires a 25 hour/week commitment, and the selected candidate will receive a weekly stipend.
