Field Organizers needed for Rhode Island gubernatorial campaign

Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo seeks full-time Field Organizers (FOs) to begin a robust voter contact effort. Position will start February 5; FOs will be based in Providence, Rhode Island.

Major Responsibilities

·      Targeting and persuading voters via phone calls and door-to-door canvassing

·      Organizing students on college campuses

·      Adhering to a strict daily reporting schedule

·      Supporting volunteer recruitment efforts as needed

·      Other duties as needed

Qualifications

·      Affable personality and great listening skills

·      Comfortable talking to voters from diverse backgrounds

·      Willingness to work long hours, including nights and weekends

·      Previous campaign or community organizing experience a plus, but not necessary

·      Must have access to reliable transportation
