A top tier campaign is looking for canvassers to engage voters in Iowa. This campaign is a grassroots effort communicating with Iowa Caucus participants. Canvassers will mobilize specific communities of voters in an effort to increase voter turnout and elect Democrats. This is a great, entry-level position for people of all types with a passion for politics and community engagement.

Canvassers should be able to work at least 15 hours a week, preferably weekdays or weeknights as well as weekends.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Knock on doors for full, three-hour shifts in assigned areas

  • Record all voter interaction accurately

  • Sync data

  • Cover own transportation and gas

  • Be prompt and ready to work every shift

Qualifications:

  • 18+ years old

  • Owns or has regular access to a legally registered vehicle

  • A valid driver’s license

  • Speaks English (although bilingual Spanish very welcome)

  • Available 15+ hours a week

  • Smart phone required

Location: Across Iowa

Dates: November 15 - February 3

Salary: $15.00 /hour
