seeking reliable canvassers with good communication skills to encourage voters to get the word out for WNY Democratic Candidate.

Schedule and Pay:

• Pay is $15.00 per hour canvassing
• Hours: 20-30 hours per week
• Employment type: part-time

Job Description:

• Canvassers will go door to door in their neighborhoods to talk to neighbors about the issues important to them and spread the word about the candidate.
• No prior campaign experience necessary—we’ll train you on everything you need to know!
• Canvass opportunities are available every day from now until Election Day

Duties Include:

• Daily check-in Team meetings to set daily goals.
• Filling out and turning in short online and papers forms.
• Must be able to work weekends and afternoons.
• Contact pre-determined list of constituents by going door-to-door on a daily basis
• Participate in daily office training and campaign updates in order to be well-informed on the issue and on canvassing technique

Requirements:

• Car or other reliable transportation required.
• Outgoing and comfortable with talking to the public, walking neighborhoods and knocking on doors
• Punctual, well organized, self-motivated, energetic, and motivated to work independently.
• Polite and courteous.
• Campaign, sales or telemarketing experience preferred but not a requirement.
• Strong verbal and customer service skills.
• Only other requirements are a good attitude!

Start date: Flexible, prefer immediate.
