Progressive Congressional campaign in NY suburbs hiring field organizers

Mondaire for Congress is hiring Field Organizers for an open primary in Rockland and Westchester Counties. Mondaire Jones is a 32 year old attorney and progressive activist who has been endorsed by Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Rep. Ayanna Pressley, Working Families Party, Democracy for America, the LGBTQ Victory Fund, Collective PAC, and more. The campaign is looking for Field Organizers to join an established team and work with the Field Director to plan and execute our field plan and GOTV efforts.

Roles & Responsibilities: 

The tasks will include but are not limited to:

• Recruit, train, and manage volunteers
• Plan and execute canvasses, phone banks, text banks, and other events
• Ensure all voter contact data is properly collected, recorded, entered, and disseminated
• Hit aggressive volunteer recruitment and voter contact goals
• Coordinate and execute Get Out the Vote program

Qualifications: 

• Strong interpersonal skills are a must, candidates must enjoy working with people and have an upbeat, can-do attitude
• Some campaign experience preferred but not required
• Well-organized and able to manage competing priorities and complete tasks on deadline
• Strong written and communication skills 
• Excellent attention to detail and highly organized
• Time management skills are a must 
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
• Reliable transportation is required; drivers license preferred
