Finance Assistant for Competitive Midwest Statewide Campaign

A dynamic, progressive, top-tier candidate in a Midwest battleground state is seeking a Finance Assistant for a 2018 statewide race.

 

The Finance Assistant will work with the Democratic nominee and Finance Team to reach a record-breaking fundraising goal. This person will be responsible for managing campaign interns, staffing the candidate, and helping to implement an aggressive finance plan that utilizes call-time, events, prospecting, and emerging fundraising strategies.

Qualifications

§  Experience on prior political races or campaigns.

§  Excellent judgment under pressure, and the ability to think strategically.

§  The ability to work and think proactively without direction.

§  An ability to take creative approaches to new fundraising strategies.

§  Responsiveness, exacting attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.

§  A competitive nature and fierce work ethic.

§  Mature communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

§  Proven ability to work with diverse communities.

§  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (and preferably NGP VAN).

 

Compensation

Compensation and benefits will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
