BerlinRosen’s National Public Affairs division is seeking a strategic, talented and committed individual to serve as its next Senior Account Executive.  Our team works with civil rights and racial equity groups focused on the intersection of racial and economic justice, as well as clients that touch on entertainment and culture work. We help our clients improve the lives of impacted communities, address inequality in our economy, our criminal justice system and our political system while holding some of the country’s largest corporations accountable to workers and of color communities. 


Our Senior Account Executive will...

  • Collaborate with colleagues to implement strategy and campaign planning for multiple client accounts
  • Engage and maintain strong relationships with key reporters covering politics, racial and economic justice, and business/finance.
  • Write and edit persuasive external and internal documents such as press releases, op-eds, fact sheets, talking points, editorial board memos, and communications plans
  • Create compelling digital content

Ideal candidates will have…

  • Knowledge of the current media landscape and a strong news sense
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including a proven ability to produce sharp, engaging written content
  • Facility with language and concepts related to the economy, federal and state policy, and business 
  • Interest in analyzing the effect of finance, Wall Street, and corporate money on policy and the economy
  • Experience writing for the web (website copy, social media posts, articles etc.)
  • Experience engaging with members of the media for both rapid response and long lead stories
  • Strong organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail
  • A knack for problem-solving under pressure
  • The ability to handle multiple assignments at once, work quickly and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in progressive politics, strategic communications, media relations, advocacy, journalism, or a related field
  • Knowledge of the current media landscape and a strong news sense
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including a proven ability to produce sharp, engaging written content
  • Facility with language and concepts related to the arts and culture space
  • Understanding of how race and gender equality in politics, Hollywood and the non-profit spaces shape the economy
  • Experience writing for the web (website copy, social media posts, articles etc.)
  • Experience engaging with members of the media for both rapid response and long lead stories
  • Strong organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail
  • A knack for problem-solving under pressure
  • The ability to handle multiple assignments at once, work quickly and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
