Andy Kim for Congress Seeks Finance Associate
Andy Kim for Congress is looking for an ambitious, strategic, hardworking individual to join our finance team. The finance associate will work closely with the finance team on all aspects of the operation, with a focus on the call time program and principal management. This position is ideal for recent college graduates with some experience on a political campaign or at a committee, preferably in the finance department.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate all aspects of call time program
Staff candidate for call time each week
Dictate how much call time is needed per quarter/month/week
Report out weekly on call time results
Manage call time universe and call priorities week to week
Manage, direct and coordinate with staff person conducting call time in DC
Conduct donor prospecting
Responsible for all phone, email or mail follow-up from candidate call time
Track pledges and ensure they are fulfilled in a timely fashion
Set aside time daily for personal calls and emails to solicit donors
Record all call notes from candidate call time and personal call time into NGP
Create communications templates
Assist finance team with other tasks as needed
Drafting mail and email invitations
Preparing memos and materials
Staffing fundraising events
Processing contributions
Qualifications
Some experience with a political campaign or committee
Ability to manage a principal
Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects
We will begin interviewing qualified candidates immediately and have an expected start date of February 1, 2020.
This position is based in NJ-03.
