Lina Hidalgo for Harris County Judge seeking Campaign Manager

The Lina Hidalgo campaign is seeking a talented campaign manager. Hidalgo is running for a position in Harris County (Houston, Texas) that goes by the name of County Judge but is actually a very powerful executive position, akin to a powerful county supervisor. One of the “Avengers,” Lina Hidalgo recently appeared on the cover of TIME Magazine, and has been profiled on NPR and a variety of local outlets. She is the presumptive democratic nominee for this position, with a primary election on March 6th. The district is the third largest and most diverse county in the nation, containing multiple congressional districts, and is ready for change. This is a large race, with an expected turnout of 700,000 voters. Hidalgo would be the first woman and first hispanic person elected to the position.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic campaign plan with clear goals and pathway to victory
• Write and manage fundraising plan and budget
• Recruit, hire, and manage a campaign leadership team
• Build and manage a digitally sophisticated, data driven, grassroots campaign
• Identify, select, and manage consultants and vendors

Qualifications

• Two cycles campaign experience; at least one cycle managing staff
• Grassroots organizing experience preferred
• Creative and intrinsically motivated to achieve excellence
• Superior leadership and management skills
• Exceptional oral and written communication
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-paced environment
