Position Summary
Top targeted PA Congressional race in Southeastern Pennsylvania is seeking regional field directors. Position will last through till Election Day. Applicant must be willing to relocate to Bucks County, Pennsylvania for the duration of the campaign (supporter housing will be provided). The ideal candidate will have 2 cycles of experience as a field organizer or at least 1 cycle of staff management, is a self-starter, and enthusiastic about growing professionally in political campaigns. Regional Field Directors will report to the Field Director and will be responsible for ensuring regional and organizing goals are met. The individual will have excellent communication & managerial skills and should enjoy working with people.
Responsibilities (included but not limited too)
- Manage, train and motivate a team of Field Organizers.
- Ensure that Field Organizers meet their daily & weekly goals.
- Ensure that data is maintained accurately and entered reliably on time.
- Evaluate Field Organizer performance and give ongoing feedback and training.
- Provide the Field Director with daily quantitative and qualitative reports.
- Monitor your regions field metrics (flake rate, doors/shift rate, dials/shift rate, organizer call/time metrics, etc) and implement systems to best effectively build on these metrics.
- Represent the Campaign at community events and meetings when necessary.
Required Qualifications
- 2 cycles of experience as a field organizer or at least 1 cycle of staff management.
- Strong understanding and experience with VAN.
- Willingness to work nights and weekends. 80+ hour weeks.
- Ability to meet deadlines under pressure while handling multiple projects.
- Ability to work independently and in team settings.
- Strong coaching skills and abilities.
- Attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Google Docs and Microsoft Office tools.
- Must possess laptop, car and valid driver’s license.
