Job Opening with the Pennsylvania Senate Democratic Campaign Committee

Pennsylvania Senate Democratic Campaign Committee (PA SDCC) is now accepting applications to fill the role of Member Services Director.

Role and Responsibilities:

The primary role of Member Services Director will be to support our incumbent Democratic State Senators in their 2019 electoral and fundraising efforts and lay the groundwork for successful campaigns in 2020.  As we move into 2020 this position will the SDCC’s point person coordinating with members, their campaign staff and consultant teams. The Member Services Director will also help oversee member participation in the SDCC central fundraising efforts.

Position will be based out of the SDCC offices in Philadelphia and will include regular travel for member events both in Harrisburg and across the state.

Position will report to the Executive Director and run through to 2020 general election.

The ideal Member Services Director has both campaign and caucus experience and will comfortable working directly with principals.  Pennsylvania ties a strong plus but not required.

The PA SDCC is a member driven organization with the mission of bring a Democratic majority to the PA State Senate, under the leadership of SDCC Chairman Sen. Vincent Hughes and Democratic Leader Sen. Jay Costa.  Through the 2018 general election and 2019 special elections, the current SDCC team has flipped 6 Republican held seats.  Senate Democrats will enter the 2020 election cycle just 3 seats away from controlling the chamber, making the PA Senate one of the country’s best opportunities to flip a legislative chamber.
