Position Title: Organizing Director

Location: Columbus, OH

Reports to: Yes We Can Steering Committee

Hours: Full Time

Who we are

Yes We Can is a grassroots organization working to build a progressive faction within the Democratic Party to shape the future of Columbus. We’re growing our movement across the city to create a Columbus that works for all working families — not just a wealthy and powerful few.

Why we’re here

Columbus is a tale of two cities. The status quo is leaving too many of our friends and neighbors behind. We continue to see rents, infant mortality, drug addiction, and temperatures rise while time with friends and family, job security, and wages have declined.

It’s up to all of us to build a better future for all residents in Columbus.

We believe in

  • Homes for all: All of us have the right to live in a safe and affordable home.

  • Education for all: All of us have the right to a high-quality public education that fully develops our potential.

  • An economy for all: All of us have the right to the resources we need to sustain ourselves and our families.

  • Safety and sanctuary for all: All of us deserve to feel safe and secure in our bodies, homes, and communities.

  • Democracy for all: Columbus belongs to all who live here. We need everyone at the table to create a Columbus for all of us!
