A Competitive State Senate campaign in the Philly Suburbs is seeking field organizers

 

Job Description:

The Field Organizer will be responsible for:

·      Managing the petition signature process

·      Recruiting, training, and managing interns and volunteers for Direct Voter Contact

·      Direct Voter Contact

·      Data Entry

·      Working with the staff and campaign manager to meet deadlines and achieve goals

·      Expanding volunteer networks and engaging in community activist groups

·      Scheduling, planning, and executing regular canvasses and phone banks

·      Helping with other aspects of the campaign as necessary

 

Requirements:

·      Some experience in field

·      Knowledge of Votebuilder/VAN

·      Ability to work campaign hours

o   Generally, 10 am - 8 pm, 6 days a week

o   Extended hours during GOTV

·      Reliable transportation

·      Strong interpersonal skills

·      Ability to work independently and in team settings

·      Passion for electing progressive Democrats
