Erin Mendenhall for Salt Lake City Mayor
The Erin Mendenhall for Salt Lake City Mayor campaign is hiring a field director through the August 13th primary. Councilwoman Mendenhall is currently serving her second term on Salt Lake City’s City Council, having served as Council Chairwoman in 2018. Prior to serving on Council, she co-founded Breathe Utah, an organization dedicated to improving air quality for all Utahns. Additionally, she serves as the chairwoman of the state Air Quality Board. Over the course of her career, she’s been an advocate for women, pushing for equal pay, access to homeless services, and an end to human trafficking. A staunch ally of the LGBT community, she’s stood firm against discrimination of all forms. A graduate of the University of Utah, Councilwoman Mendenhall lives in Salt Lake City’s 5th district (where she’s lived for nearly two decades), with her husband and three children.
We are looking for someone with at least three cycles of experience, preferably in states with a mail-in ballot; fundamental understanding of targeting is a plus. This is a full-time position, and any candidate will be expected to work on the weekends, beginning immediately. Compensation will be based on experience. The field director will work closely with the campaign manager on a day-to-day basis. This is an incredible opportunity to work for a candidate who is wholly invested in her community, as well someone who represents the future of the Democratic Party in Utah.
