A Democratic campaign in top-tier Indiana congressional district is seeking a senior level Campaign Manager who will work closely with candidate, campaign staff, consultants, and other core members of campaign team to lead the campaign’s strategy in this targeted district. The campaign manager will oversee the campaign’s overall strategy and day-to-day operations and will help manage finance and field program to maximize campaign’s voter outreach and fundraising.
Responsibilities include:
Manage candidate schedule
Develop overall campaign plan and work with consultant team to implement paid communications strategy
Oversee other aspects of communications plan, including campaign’s earned and social media strategy
Manage campaign political strategy and oversee endorsement process
Work closely with Finance Director and fundraising consultants to ensure campaign is on track to hit fundraising goals
Help oversee voter outreach and volunteer recruitment in campaign field plan
Qualifications/Requirements:
Three-five cycles of campaign work preferred, three cycles minimum
Must be highly organized and have either management experience or multiple cycles of finance experience
Proficiency with NGP and VAN
Experience working with principals and with leading teams of staff and volunteers
Must be able to work collaboratively and be able to juggle multiple priorities at a time
Must have strong written and communication skills, be detail oriented, and have excellent time management skills
Previous experience working in Midwest is strongly preferred
Flexibility to work weekends and long hours is required
