Top Targeted Democratic State Senate Campaign in the Philadelphia area is seeking a motivated, hard working Field Director for the 2020 Election Cycle

 

Pennsylvania’s State Senate has been Republican-controlled for over three decades. With encouraging Special Election and Midterm Election wins, 2020 is a major opportunity for Democrats to retake control of the chamber. We cannot flip the State Senate without this seat and it will take a massive Field effort to flip!

 

 

Responsibilities Include-

 

• Develop and execute Petition program to gather enough signatures to get candidate on the ballot

• Develop, manage, and execute direct voter contact/GOTV Field Program, using traditional as well as innovative methods to reach voters

• Hire, train, and effectively manage staff in multiple locations

• Connect with grassroots and local activist organizations to build engagement 

• Recruit and activate volunteers for daily canvass operations

• Recruit and develop Paid Canvass Program

• Collaborate with Campaign Manager on effective targeting and Field plan

• Serve as Senior Member of Leadership team, advising the Campaign Manager on overall direction of the Field Program

 

 

Required Qualifications-

 

 

• Passion for electing Democrats

• 1-2 cycles of Field experience

• Proficiency in Votebuilder

• Ability to work long, irregular hours

• Reliable transportation and a laptop

• Familiarity with minivan, P2P texting programs, and dialer systems

• Positive can-do attitude

• Ability to work independently and in a group setting

• Experience managing staff

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
