Campaign Services Director

 

The Iowa Senate Majority Fund (SMF) is a full-time political organization dedicated to building a Democratic majority in the Iowa Senate.

 

The SMF is looking for a full-time Campaign Services Director to oversee and operate a member and candidate call time operation and field operations to help regain a Democratic majority in 2020. The Campaign Services Director will work closely with the Finance Director and Director to execute a fundraising, messaging, and voter contact program.

• Assist Finance Director and Director in scheduling and executing fundraising events and activities.
• Write or oversee drafting of direct mail and online/email solicitations.
• Conduct donor research, expanding rolodex for incumbents and challengers.
• Help candidates with in-district and lobbyist fundraisers.
• Assist with paid communications plans.
• Help with press releases, digital communications, and other forms of outreach from campaigns.
• Interact directly with candidates and members to increase productivity and ensure direct voter contact goals are met.

Further Information

This position may require extensive hours, statewide travel and infrequent national travel. Salary will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.
