The Illinois Senate Democratic Victory Fund’s finance team works to raise money for the Senate President’s campaign committee, his leadership funds, members of the caucus, and recruited candidates. The finance assistant will work alongside the finance coordinators providing fundraising support for each of these entities as delegated by the Finance Director. These responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting in planning and executing fundraising events

• Assisting in list preparation for call time and mailings

• Managing call time and executing the necessary follow up

• Assisting in database management for the leadership funds and individual senators and candidates

• Assisting in filing and compliance for the leadership funds and individual senators and candidates

• Assist in expanding the donor universe through donor research and cultivation

• Assist in managing donor relationships and distributing thank you notes in a timely manner

Experience with NGP is preferred.

Campaign finance experience is preferred, but not required.

This job requires travel.
