Congressional campaign looking for field organizers

[Texas Congressional Campaign]

A Democratic congressional campaign in the great state of Texas is seeking field organizers, who will be an integral part of our plan to defeat a vulnerable but longtime incumbent Republican member of Congress. 

Responsibilities:

 

1.     Develop relationships with volunteers across the district and teach them to recruit more volunteers

2.     Help plan candidate events in the district

3.     Use VAN, Hustle, and other online platforms to engage with voters

4.     Lead blockwalks and train volunteers to do the same

5.     Other responsibilities, as needed

 

Qualifications:

 

We are looking for passionate, engaged individuals who are well organized and responsible. To succeed in this position, you must be eager and able to learn and to adapt to a dynamic environment on the ground. A good sense of humor is a plus! Previous experience working for a political campaign is preferred but not required.
