Campaign Staff for Manchester Mayoral Race

Overview:

Joyce Craig for Manchester is seeking highly motivated staff to join our team. We will run a grassroots program that provides volunteers the skills and resources they need to engage their neighborhoods and communities. The ideal candidate is creative, highly organized, and ready to hit the ground running.

Responsibilities:

·  Plan and execute canvasses and phone banks

·  Train volunteers and fellows on voter persuasion, data integrity and other relevant skills

·  Work with the Campaign Manager to develop voter outreach strategy

·  Manage a metrics driven operation and report progress to goals in a timely and accurate manner

·  Advance candidate events

- Other responsibilities as needed

Applicants must:

·  Have a passion for organizing and voter engagement

·  Possess excellent personal, verbal and written communication skills

·  Be able to successfully coach and manage volunteers

·  Have the ability to communicate with diverse populations and leaders

·  Be able to work in a high-pressure setting and willing to work long hours, including nights and weekends

·  Have experience meeting goals and the ability to manage many tasks simultaneously

·  Possess a valid driver's license and vehicle

·  Be competent with Microsoft Excel and Google Spreadsheets

*Individuals with New Hampshire ties, campaign experience and a working familiarity with Votebuilder are preferred*
