Southern CA Congressional Campaign Seeks Finance Director

U.S. Congressional campaign seeks Finance Director.  Responsibilities will include developing and implementing a Finance Plan with additional requirements including, but not limited to: executing campaign fundraising events, donor research and contribution solicitation, tracking and following up with pledges, managing candidate call-time, and supervising the development and implementation of campaign budget.

Ideal candidates are self-starters who can hit the ground running and enjoy a face-paced environment. Candidates should have a strong working knowledge of campaigns and a commitment to the Democratic Party. Position will be filled in the coming month and will require a commitment to work full-time until the end of the 2016 election cycle.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Donor research and call-time management

• Both high and low dollar fundraising

• Setting up and managing campaign events

• Overseeing and/or assisting with the overall finance department including budgeting, FEC reporting, and finance compliance

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Candidates must be self-motivated and detail-oriented

• Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

• Willingness to work long hours, including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced environment

• Desire to learn on the job and meet any challenge with a positive attitude

• Knowledge of NGP, Microsoft Excel

Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. Position is full-time.
