POSITION: Deputy Research Director, Senate Campaigns

 

LOCATION: Washington, DC

 

American Bridge 21st Century, a progressive research organization dedicated to holding Republicans accountable for their words and actions, is hiring a Deputy Research Director to join its Senate campaigns research team. The Deputy Research Director will work closely with the Senate Campaigns Research Director and manage a team of researchers to conduct opposition research efforts centered on U.S. Senate campaigns.

Responsibilities Include:

• ·        Managing a team of researchers charged with producing comprehensive opposition research products on candidates involved in U.S. Senate races;
  
• ·        Overseeing research team’s collection of information from legislative votes, news clips, campaign finance reports, financial and legal records, and research databases;
  
• ·        Managing and performing rapid response research projects in key electoral races in coordination with the research director and communications team;
  
• ·        Assisting and training less experienced researchers; and,
  
• ·        Other duties as needed.
  

Qualifications and Requirements:

• ·        At least three election cycles of opposition research employment;
  
• ·        Experience as a Senate or statewide campaign research director strongly preferred;
  
• ·        Organizational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines a must;
  
• ·        Strong commitment to teamwork;
  
• ·        Previous experience managing staff required.
