Field Organizer - South Florida Congressional Primary

Position: Full-time Field Organizer sought for a South Florida progressive congressional primary candidate in a competitive district. The Field Organizer will be the campaign's eyes and ears on the ground.

Field Organizer Responsibilities:

· Recruiting (via direct volunteer recruitment call time and other methods), managing, and training volunteers to participate in direct voter contact activities – namely canvassing and phone banking

· Meeting and exceeding strict daily, weekly, and monthly goals including volunteer recruitment dials, volunteer shift recruitment, volunteer shift completion, and volunteer productivity

· Ensuring timely and proper data entry from voter contact and volunteer recruitment efforts

· Field Organizers are responsible for building a grassroots network of volunteers capable of turning out enough voters to deliver the margin of victory within their assigned region

· Maintaining a professional campaign culture with an emphasis on building out best practices based on conditions on the ground and accountability to goals and metrics

Field Organizer Qualifications:

· Applicants must be highly organized and have the ability to thrive in a high pressure, fast-paced campaign environment

· Campaign/Field experience preferred, but not required

· Knowledge of Votebuilder preferred, but not required

· Strong ability to train and produce high performing volunteers and team leaders

· Detail-oriented with an ability to be self-accountable

· Ability to meet deadlines on multiple concurrent tasks
