Campaign Fundraiser Job Description
Overview
The Committee for a Healthy Community seeks a campaign fundraiser based in the St. Louis, Missouri area. The applicant will work to raise money for two ballot measures in St. Louis County and St. Charles County that would introduce comprehensive indoor workplace smoking bans. The campaign fundraiser will work with the campaign organizer to manage the fundraising operation. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
· Craft and implement a fundraising plan for the campaign
· Work with the campaign organizer and consultants to meet the campaign’s fundraising goals
· Create daily call sheets; Plan and execute daily fundraising call time
· Manage the donor research process to help expand the campaign’s donor network
· Plan and oversee all campaign fundraising events
· Establish and maintain relationships with previous, current, and potential donors
· Closely track fundraising metrics

Keep
detailed records of all donations for FEC compliance
Qualifications
· Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and a strong working knowledge of electoral politics (familiarity with Missouri politics preferred)
· Proficiency in Excel
· Detail-oriented and organized
· Working knowledge of NGP VAN
· Strong time management skills
· Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently
· Strong written and verbal skills
· Experience on a campaign in at least one election cycle (preferably as finance director, finance assistant, or call time manager)
· Ability to work long hours and weekends
