Fundraising Associate for Chicago Democratic Consulting Firm

 

Democratic consulting firm seeks outstanding candidates for the position of Fundraising Associate. This position reports directly to a Principal of the firm and engages directly with clients on all matters related to accounts. The firm works primarily with federal, state, and city candidates and incumbents.

 

This position is salaried, full-time, and located in the West Loop of Chicago.

 

Responsibilities include:

·       Staff fundraising call time with clients

·       Communicate directly with donors and prospective donors via email, phone, and in person

·       Plan, build, and staff fundraising events

·       Create and prioritize call sheets for fundraising

·       Draft content for solicitation materials

 

Qualifications:

·       Willingness to engage in and successfully complete multiple projects at a time

·       Ability to work independently and within a team

·       Comfortable taking initiative in solving problems

·       Strong organizational and writing skills
