About David: 

David Aronov for City Council is looking for paid canvassers to assist with getting the campaign on the ballot ahead of the June primary. David is running because we need a new generation of leadership at City Hall prepared to tackle today’s challenges and build a stronger tomorrow. As a first-generation American who grew up in a union household, David knows the value of hard work. If elected, he will bring a unique perspective to this work as someone with nearly a decade of experience working in city government. 

About the role:

Canvassers will be required to go door-to-door and collect signatures on behalf of the campaign. As representatives of the campaign, canvassers must be able to effectively communicate with others in a professional and pleasant manner and must be able to walk or stand for long periods of time. 

This position is an entry-level position and training will be provided. While no canvassing experience is necessary, preference will be given to those with previous campaign/political experience. Queens residents are highly encouraged to apply, as well as Mandarin, Russian and/or Spanish speakers. 

Requirements: 

Must be a registered Democrat in New York City. A functional cell phone and a flexible schedule are required, as well as an ability to start when petitioning period begins on March 2nd.

Proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 3 days of starting is required.

Compensation: 

$17/hr (Part-time)
