Finance Director

 

Seeking Finance Directors for highly targeted congressional races in NY, NJ, & PA. Women and minority candidates are encouraged to apply. 

The Finance Director is responsible for developing a campaign fundraising plan through 2018, managing candidate call time, establishing a finance committee, organizing high and low donor events, supervising donor prospecting and research, & hiring and managing a fundraising staff. The ideal candidate will have campaign fundraising experience, is diligent, hardworking, and very well organized. 

 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

 

·        Develop a written fundraising plan.

·        Manage candidate call time & other activities to hit finance targets & deadlines.

·        Manage follow up on all correspondence and pledges.

·        Make fundraising calls to donors during candidate call time.

·        Establish and manage a high-dollar finance committee.

·        Plan and execute fundraising events.

·        Execute donor research and find new donor lists.

·        Support other campaign operations as necessary.

·        Hire and supervise fundraising staff/interns/volunteers to assist with data entry and other tasks.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

·        Previous congressional campaign finance experience or equivalent.

·        Must have at least campaign one cycle of experience as a finance or senior deputy finance director.

·        Knowledge of NGP, ActBlue and Excel.

·        Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.

·        Creativity, initiative, and able to function as part of a team.
