Duties: The finance staff will work closely with the candidate and campaign manager to manage the campaign’s fundraising operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in event planning, call time management, donor research, online fundraising and organizational financial planning. Finance staff will be responsible for managing call time, staffing the candidate, and generating new prospects for introduction into our call time rotation.

Desired Skills/Qualifications:

• Minimum of one-year fundraising experience with political campaigns and/or state parties.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Impeccable attention to detail and ability to work with a team in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

• Ability to establish and revise fundraising projections, provide bi-weekly updates to the candidate and team, and revise fundraising strategy as needed.

• Knowledge of NGP, VAN preferred.

• Project management experience and understanding Virginia election law preferred.
