Finance Director for Progressive Democrat in suburban New York race

Mondaire for Congress is hiring a Finance Director who is able to begin immediately for an open primary in Rockland and Westchester Counties. Mondaire Jones is a 32 year old attorney and progressive activist who has been endorsed by Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Rep. Ayanna Pressley, Democracy for America, the LGBTQ Victory Fund, Collective PAC, and more. The campaign is looking for a Finance Director with at least one cycle of campaign fundraising experience who is able to manage and expand an already strong fundraising program.

Roles & Responsibilities: 

The tasks will include but are not limited to:

• Developing and executing finance plan
• Planning and managing fundraising events, including working with event hosts and preparing candidate
• Managing call time program and occasionally staffing candidate for call time
• Other administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications: 

• 1-2 cycles campaign finance experience preferred 
• Knowledge of and experience with NGP and ActBlue
• Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Drive required
• Strong written and communication skills 
• Excellent attention to detail and highly organized
• Time management skills are a must 
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
• Reliable transportation is required; drivers license preferred
