A 2018 congressional race in southern Texas is seeking to fill the deputy finance director / call time manager role. This is a mid-level role with some prior experience preferred and is an opportunity to grow one's skill set.
Responsibilities:Call Time ManagementOversee management and candidate staffing for aggressive call time program
Work with Finance Director to regularly grow call universe
Produce comprehensive call sheets
Research contact information & donor history for prospective donors
Track and enter call time data
Staff minimum of 20 hours call time/week
Submit daily call and pledge reports
Event Management
Build Event Web Pages
Help track incoming RSVPs and respective contributions
Event staffing – directing volunteers and interns
Additional Responsibilities
Update necessary NGP information from call time
Direct thank you letter process, including use of mail merge
Track incoming checks and help coordinate flow of information to compliance team
Preferred Experience/Abilities
Previous finance experience on a campaign either as an intern or finance assistant
Experience with candidate call time
Strong attention to detail and prior experience working campaign-like hours
Ability to work with different personalities / have a sense of humor
Strong self-organization skills and ability to organize others
