NoVa Delegate Campaign Seeks Deputy Field Organizers

We're seeking talented Deputy Field Organizers (DFO’s) for a top tier House of Delegates race in Northern Virginia. DFO’s will support our field team in preparing for and executing Get Out The Vote (GOTV) efforts. 

This entry-level, paid position is a great opportunity to build valuable campaign experience and get your foot in the door. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis. The position is through November 4th and is based right outside DC. Salary dependent on time commitment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are implementing a volunteer-based voter contact program, proven to be the most effective community organizing strategy. The primary responsibilities of a Deputy Field Organizer are to help the District Field Staff reach their volunteer recruitment and voter contact goals through phone calls and door-to-door canvassing.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

·        Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills, experience meeting deadlines, and the ability to manage many tasks

·        Candidates must be self-motivated and willing to work long hours

·        Candidates must have the ability to communicate with diverse communities and leaders

·        Candidates will preferably have their own vehicle or other mode of transportation

·        A good sense of humor and a strong commitment to electing Democrats
