ORGANIZING/FIELD DIRECTOR
Field Director needed for Manhattan Borough President Campaign
Join an incredible team working to elect Mark Levine as Manhattan's next Borough President. Mark is a proven progressive who is a leading voice in the fight for affordable housing and has worked to protect tenants rights, responsible development and equity in schools, transit, parks and healthcare.
We're looking for a field director with electoral or issue-based organizing experience to manage a grassroots field program throughout every neighborhood in Manhattan.
Responsibilities include:
Manage a robust grassroots field program, including overseeing day-to-day field operations such as virtual meet and greets, phone banks and community events
Manage a team of field organizers and volunteers
Participate in DVC
Staff the candidate and other tasks as needed
Requirements:
3 campaign cycles or other equivalent community organizing experience
Experience with VAN
Staff, intern or volunteer management experience
Bilingual candidates preferred
Salary: is $5,000-$6,000
