About the Job

South & West is looking for a Charlotte, NC-based part-time associate. This role will facilitate our client work in the Charlotte area including call time management and principal staffing. Additionally, the associate role will help remotely with research for other South & West clients. South & West associates are a crucial part of our work in supporting progressive candidates and efforts, often working hand-in-hand with candidates and leaders in their communities.

Duties

• Staffing candidate call time 2-6 hours per week

• Staffing candidate during events (typically one per month in the evening)

• Donor identification and research with other South & West staff

• Sending follow-up and thank-you emails from client accounts as needed

• Communicating with the client for scheduling

Requirements

• Reliable transportation to uptown Charlotte (car, public transport, etc.)

• Own a laptop or have regular access to borrow one

• Daytime availability during the week (including over the summer)

• Strong scheduling abilities and ability to keep another person on-task

• Commitment to progressive values and ideals

This is an entry-level, part time position starting at $15 per hour.
