Finance Assistant Job Description

Top tier Democratic congressional campaign is seeking energetic finance assistant to join high performing fundraising team.

Finance Assistant responsibilities include:

• Donor research and prospecting 
  
• Work with finance team on upkeep and maintenance of campaign database
  
• Preparing and helping manage call time
  
• Staffing fundraising events 
  
• Organizing candidate’s network
  
• Assisting with follow-up from call time, events and other outstanding items as needed
  
• Assist with drafting fundraising emails and communications
  
• Assisting with all aspects of fundraising and other campaign events
  
• Other duties as needed
  

Finance Assistant Qualifications:

• Highly organized and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced campaign environment
  
• Ability to work long hours including nights and weekends on a regular basis
  
• A true self-starter who is a detail-oriented team player
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  
• Ability to manage a lot of projects simultaneously and cheerfully
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel especially) required
  
• Access to reliable transportation required
  
• Spanish language proficiency preferred 
  
• Previous finance/fundraising experience preferred
  
• Previous Texas campaign experience preferred
  
• Knowledge of NGP or other database type software preferred
