Field Organizers needed for a competitive Democratic Congressional primary in Maryland

A​ key,​ competitive​ Democratic​ primary campaign​ ​for​ Maryland’s 6th Congressional District​​ ​seeks​ ​a​ highly​​ ​motivated ​field organizer ​​responsible ​for, ​but​ ​not​ ​limited​​ ​to:  

● ​Building​ ​and​ ​maintaining​ relationships ​with​ ​local​ ​activists​ and​​ ​community​ ​leaders  

●​ Recruiting,​ ​training​, ​and​ ​managing​ ​volunteers

●​ Implementing new and creative ideas for direct voter contact

●​ ​Meeting ​voter​ ​​contact​ ​goals ​as ​assigned​ ​by​ ​the​ Field​​ Director​   

●​ Planning​ ​and​ executing​​ ​campaign​ ​events​ under​​ the​​ ​direction​ ​of ​the​ ​Field​ ​Director  

● ​​Other​ ​duties​ ​as​ ​assigned

Qualifications:

● ​​Superb​ ​written​ ​and​ oral​​ ​communication​ ​skills  

● ​​Dedication​ ​to​ ​progressive ​values

●​ ​Must ​be​ ​willing​ to​ ​work​ irregular​​ hours,​ ​​including​ evenings​​ ​and​ ​weekends  

●​ ​Ability​ to​ ​work ​in​ fast-paced,​ ​​goals-driven​ environment​   

● ​​Demonstrated​ ​knowledge​ of​​ ​and​ ​ability​ to​​ use​​ ​office​ software​​ like Excel,​ ​Word,​​ and ​Google​ Sheets​   

●​ ​Prior​ ​Votebuilder ​​experience ​a​ ​plus

●​ ​Applicants​ ​should​ ​have​ a​​ valid​​ ​driver’s​ license​​ and​​ ​vehicle
