Job: Field Director for Morris County Democratic Committee

Position Summary:The goal of the Field Director is to ensure that the campaign’s message is delivered and spread through the means of direct voter contact. The Field Director is required to organize and strategize to gather support of the candidate by identifying, persuading, and motivating potential voters.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the candidate and campaign manager to set goals and determine the campaign message
• Write, develop, and strategize plans to coordinate voter outreach including canvassing and phone banking with maximum reach and impact
• Manage and execute said field plans
• Set, manage, and execute benchmarks and goals for voter outreach effort
• Ability to build universe for effective voter contact
• Coordinate voter registration and recruitment effort as well as GOTV effort
• Manage and analyze large quantities of data and utilize said data within strategies
• Coordinate logistics with senior staff members such as organizing fundraisers and managing the field program budget
• Recruit, train, and manage volunteers whilst creating and maintaining a strong sense of purpose, community, and professionalism within the campaign

Qualifications:

• 2+ cycles of campaign field experience
• Experience in designing, maintaining, and improving a goal-oriented structure while having the ability to be flexible and adjust to any possible changes
• Excellent organizational skills; able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, pay close attention to detail, and meet deadlines
• Extensive experience with Votebuilder (VAN)
• Experience in recruiting and training staffers and volunteers
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly, effectively, and efficiently
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills; capable of effectively managing and motivating staffers and volunteers

Compensation:Commensurate with experience.
