ESPC SEEKS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Equality State Policy Center (ESPC) is a coalition of organizations working for a Wyoming where all voices are represented.


We do this by organizing citizens to more effectively participate in the political system, by advocating for transparency and accountability within our government, and by supporting our coalition members in their work.


By changing the face of power in Wyoming, the Equality State Policy Center promotes issues that affect all Wyomingites including:

• Equitable representation and participation in the political process
  
• Transparent and accessible government
  
• Issues that impact working Wyomingites

The Equality State Policy Center seeks an Executive Director with a starting date of October 15, 2016. The position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, familiarity with legislative process, advocacy and development experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  
• Effective skills in financial management, budget and project planning, strong ability in fund development including foundation grants, grassroots, and grasstops donors
  
• Leadership skills, including the ability to think strategically and facilitate dialogue for shared results
  
• Ability to manage execution for organizing and prioritizing work activities, monitoring progress, and delegating responsibility
  
• Extensive knowledge of legislative advocacy
  
• Flexibility and ability to execute program deliverables prior to established deadlines 
  
• Ability to travel extensively

This position is currently based in Laramie with a salary range of $50,000-$65,0000, including benefits.
