Senior Research Associate: 

 

Senate Majority PAC is seeking senior research associates for the 2020 election cycle.  Senior research associates would report to the research director and senior research advisor and work closely with the SMP team. Responsibilities will include daily tracking of assigned Senate races, conducting original research on targeted candidates, assisting in approval processes for SMP media communications.

 

Qualifications and skills:

 

• Previous campaign experience required, 1-2 cycles of campaign experience preferred;
• Excellent research and writing skills; 
• Highly organized; 
• Strong attention to detail; 
• Ability to work non-traditional hours when needed; 
• Familiarity with Lexis-Nexis and other commonly-used research databases. 

 

Salary is commensurate with experience. The position will be based in Washington, D.C.

Media Monitor/Research Assistant

 

Senate Majority PAC is seeking a media monitor/research assistant for the 2020 election cycle. The position will report to the research director and senior research advisor and work closely with the SMP team. Responsibilities will include media monitoring, tracking paid advertisement and other campaign activity and news, some tracking of Republican Senate candidates when in Washington, D.C., and assisting in other research projects as needed.

 

Qualifications and skills:

 

• Previous campaign experience a plus; 
• Excellent writing skills; 
• Highly organized; 
• Strong attention to detail; 
• Ability to work nontraditional hours when needed.
