Campaign Manager Job Description

 

Description:

Democratic candidate seeking talented, hard-working Campaign Manager to manage a large campaign in Westchester, NY.

The Campaign Manager is tasked with overseeing the campaign’s day-to-day operations, including the field program, scheduling, and political engagement, and with working with the campaign’s fundraising and general consultant team. Other duties may include:

 

·         Working with the consultant team to ensure adherence to the campaign budget

·         Overseeing field operations and volunteer recruitment

·         Managing political engagement with local organizations, activists and elected officials

·         Coordinating events and press activities with the assistance of the consultant team

·         Supervising and recruiting campaign staff, interns and volunteers

 

Qualifications:

• 2-3 cycles of related campaign management or field director experience
• Familiarity, and preferably direct experience with, the design and implementation of field programs
• Detail oriented and proficient with the VAN
• Working knowledge of NGP database preferred
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
