Digital Coordinator - Maryland Senate Race

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Donna Edwards for Senate is seeking a Digital Coordinator to work with the Digital, Field, and Communications teams to craft a strong online presence for a dynamic candidate on one of the top Senate races in the country. Ideal candidates will be strong writers, always thinking “what’s next,” and will have a keen eye for detail. Willingness to learn and adapt on the fly a must. This position reports to the Digital Director.

Wide range of experiences and backgrounds accepted and encouraged to apply. Previous digital, technical, or code experience is not required.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working with Digital Director to create and produce online fundraising materials

• Develop and maintain day-to-day social media presence

• Monitor social media activity regarding candidate or campaign

• Work to manage and develop digital volunteers, activists, and interns

• Staff candidate at events as necessary

• Develop creative strategies to reach new audiences

• Electing an amazing woman to the Senate
