DFL House Caucus hiring organizers in Minnesota

Field Organizers will, in their assigned House Districts: o   Implement the Caucus voter contact program, including voter identification, persuasion, and Get Out The Vote efforts. o   Offer support to endorsed candidates and their campaigns. o   Recruit, train, and manage volunteers and interns. o   Perform other duties as assigned by the Field Director. ·      Ideal candidates will have: o   Dedication to DFL values and principles. o   Experience with field or community organizing (such as voter registration or get-out-the-vote drives). o   Highly tuned communication skills and proficient computing skills, including VAN and Microsoft Office tools     o   Ability to maintain nontraditional working hours. o   An insured vehicle for travel in an assigned geographic region.   Compensation is competitive plus benefits and certain expense reimbursements will be provided.
