Political Fellow Positions at Leading Democratic Consulting Firm - Washington, D.C.

A leading political consulting firm based in Washington, D.C. seeks qualified candidates to fill a full-time political fellowship. This position is an opportunity for a motivated individual to be part of a renowned firm that is an industry leader in field consulting for high-profile Democratic campaigns/organizations, national labor interests and non-profit organizations across the United States. Our clients include dozens of nationally-recognized Governors, Senators, and Congressmen but also include some of the largest membership organizations in the United States as well. There is also the opportunity to travel to our different field offices across the country and help with GOTV efforts. The ideal candidate is an energetic, passionate individual who can quickly adapt to a fast paced environment and can juggle multiple projects at a time while remaining organized. A sense of humor is also a plus.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting senior staff with upcoming projects
  
• Output of daily news clips to our national staff
  
• Political research
  
• Administrative duties as necessary
  
• Assisting with proposal and budget writing
  

Desired qualifications and attributes:

• Past political experience is a plus, but not mandatory
  
• Experience with Excel, Photoshop, Quickbooks, and large data sets
  
• Creativity, initiative, good judgment, self-confidence, and an outgoing personality.
  
• Strong attention to detail
  
• A demonstrated commitment to Democratic/progressive causes
  
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
