Creative Director, Rice Consulting
Rice Consulting, Maryland’s top fundraising firm serving Democrats, non-profits, and progressive organizations is looking for a full-time Creative Director to coordinate all creative aspects of their client's fundraising and outreach as well as directing all internal marketing and creative efforts. If you have a background in graphic design, web design, or marketing, have an interest in politics, and would enjoy a very multi-faceted and hands-on position with a small company, this could be the position for you.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and manage production of all Rice Consulting and client publications (marketing pieces, invitations, e-blasts, incumbency protection programs)
Rebrand clients and their campaign materials
Update current client websites and create new websites using Wordpress and Wix templates
Set up donation pages and send E-blasts for client events
Manage and post to client Facebook event pages in the lead up to an event
Attract new clients through networking, marketing, and other creative means
Meet with clients to discuss and understand their overall objectives and requirements
Obtain quotes from vendors
Coach interns and support staff
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in media arts/graphic design/marketing or similar and at least 1-2 years related experience
Mastery of Adobe design programs: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
Proficient in Dreamweaver
Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
Ability to update existing Wix and Wordpress websites
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Flexible and willing to perform other tasks as assigned
Experience with NGP a plus
